2nd Dr. Appointment

We had our second dr.'s appointment today. It was great. We couldn't hear the heart beat with the fetal monitor but Nicole (my dr) did let us have a look so we could at least see the heart beat. It was soooooo fast. Jencey got to go with us, which was really sweet. We showed her the picture and told her that the baby was there and now she walks around with the picture saying "Cece's baby, See Cece's Baby!" It is sooo sweet. Also, after talking to Nicole I decided to get the H1N1 shot. Nicole is 26 weeks pregnant herself and just got the vaccine, she HIGHLY recommended it. She says it is way safer to get the vaccine then to not get it and get the flu. She actually has patients that refused the shot and now are in the hospital with the flu and are in pretty bad shape. We also made another decision today. We decided not to get the Downs Syndrome testing done. We were suppose to go next Monday but have decided against it. One it is totally stressing me out. Two, if by some chance our baby was to have Downs it wouldn't change that fact that I am having this baby. God will never give us what we can't handle, right? Three, our insurance is good but it doesn't cover this new test. Today I am 10 weeks and 3 days and this is still so hard to believe that in just a few short months I am going to be a Mommy! CRAZY!!! Well in better words it is just CRAZY that something is actually growing inside of me. I keep getting the question, "what do you guys want a boy or a girl?" or "You guys have a little girl you really need a boy?" I know those questions are common when pregnant and I use to think I would love a little girl and it is true that Chris has said that he too would love a house full of girls. But boy or girl this child will be loved. I can honestly say that. Right now we just pray for a HEALTHY BABY!!!!! Don't get me wrong I am dying to know what it is but right now I am just enjoying every minute of being pregnant and the suspense only makes finding out that much more fun!

Cruise

WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!!!! It was the much the vacation we needed. Nothing like laying back and letting everybody clean up after you. This was Chris' 1st cruise and it totally won him over.
Even though we were by ourselves we had a great time we even met some friends that we hung out with most of the cruise. Our Cruise went to Half Moon Cay (Carnivals Private Island) and to Nassau, Bahamas it also had to great days at sea. One of which was quite rough.
